Claire Guy

    Claire Guy is a passionate educator who has worked her entire career in the school system and currently divides her time between serving as a part time Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Langley School District as well as Executive Director for the British Columbia School Superintendents Association.   Throughout her career Claire has been dedicated to supporting students and schools in creating the important conditions for learning in order that support student success.  She has been actively involved in bringing the SWIS (Settlement Workers in Schools) Program to Langley, working to promote student safety and well-being with the School District and the Ministry of Education, worked alongside to serve the District’s Aboriginal department, and has most recently championed SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) education in British Columbia.  She is delighted to be a member of the Human Dignity Coalition and looks forward to the ongoing work of this important group.
